During our Christmas vacation to Florida, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to fish with Todd Fuller. As well as owning and operating the fly shop and guide service at Fuller's North Branch Outing Club in Lovells, Todd operates Fuller's Angling Adventures. He spends the winters full-time in Florida, and provides guide service on Mosquito Lagoon near Titusville.

We met Todd on the morning of December 29, and fished all day on the lagoon. Todd has been fishing Florida waters since he was young, and got us onto many of the flats. We chased tailing redfish all day, and we had frequent opportunities to cast to fish. I would have to say that we had at least 30-40 shots during the course of the whole day. I've fished Reds before, and I have never had so many opportunities in a single trip. I highly recommend Todd for redfish fishing in Florida, and also for trout out of the North Branch Outing Club in Lovells, MI.

Maureen and I also spent a day at the Canaveral National Seashore south of New Smyrna Beach. We went wade fishing in the northern section of Mosquito Lagoon and had a great time. There are great spots to fish, and the area is full of redfish, sea trout, black drum, and almost 80 other fish species. The park is unique in that you can fish the lagoon on the west bank, and drive 5 minutes to surf fish on the ocean side.
